Getting there

Flying in

The closest airports, by drive time to Farm Road Estate:

Albany is the closest; Boston has the most flights. You'll want a rental car from any of them.

Driving in

Farm Road Estate is at 7 Cross Town Road, West Dover, just off Route 100 in the Deerfield Valley. Open in Google Maps

Roughly 2½ hours from Boston, 1¾ from Hartford and 4 from New York City.

It's a holiday weekend

July 4th weekend is one of the busiest of the summer up here. Book flights, rental cars and rooms early, and give yourself extra time on the road on Friday and Monday.

Getting around

You'll want a car

Uber and Lyft don't really operate in the Deerfield Valley. If you'd rather not drive, book a local taxi ahead of time:

  • Mount Snow Taxi — (802) 236-7667
  • Valley Cab & Car Services — (802) 348-7827

Or find a ride with other guests on the carpool board.

Maps, cell service & night driving

Use Google Maps or Apple Maps rather than Waze, which likes to send people down rough back roads here.

Cell service is patchy in the mountains — start your directions before you lose signal, or download an offline map.

Roads are dark at night and deer are out at dusk, so take it slow.
