This is a personal wedding website for Ari and Montana's wedding. It exists to help our invited guests RSVP, see their own schedule for the weekend, and find travel and logistics information. It is not a commercial service, and we don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone outside of what's described below.
What we collect
When you RSVP or update your contact info, we collect: your name, mailing address, email address, mobile phone number, RSVP responses (attending/not attending per event, meal choices, dietary needs), arrival/departure and lodging details, and any event suggestions you submit. If you opt in to text messages, we also keep a record of when and how you consented.
How we use it
Solely to plan and run our wedding weekend: catering counts and dietary accommodations, seating and logistics, sending you reminders and updates about the weekend, and following up on anything you've asked us about. We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't share it with any guest other than yourself — your information is never visible to other guests.
Text messages (SMS)
We only text a phone number after you've actively checked a consent box next to that specific number, on our RSVP form or contact-update page. Text messages are limited to wedding-related updates: RSVP reminders, lodging deadlines, and day-of event logistics. Message frequency varies, roughly 1-4 messages total across the engagement. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or opt back in by replying START. Reply HELP for help. If you change your phone number, you'll need to opt in again for the new number — consent doesn't carry over automatically.
Who else sees this information
Only the two of us (and anyone we've specifically given admin access to, like a wedding planner) can see the full guest list and contact details. We use a small number of service providers to run this site, each of whom only processes data on our behalf: Neon (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), Brevo (sending email), and Twilio (sending text messages, only if you've opted in). None of them use your information for their own purposes.
Your choices
You can update or correct your contact information yourself at any time through your personal link. You can opt out of text messages at any time (see above). If you'd like us to delete your information entirely, just reach out to us directly and we'll take care of it.
